How to make a top with short sleeves and turtleneck

Hello blogy!!! I´m gonna do another tutorial today . . . . i hope someone benefits from it or else it would be pointless making it :D. If anyone even reads this . . . please say hi :D or something . . .

So here it is without pattern. Just using what you already have at home . . . well most of you . . . somewhere out there . . . You can use any fitted top you have with sleeves or without if you decide you want sleeveless or turtleneckless. Use the one you like the most or the one that fits you best.
My top was quite wrinkly. Iron yours it´l be easier to work or just be super lazy like me whatever floats your boat . . .Use any stretchy material you like.

Just make sure its stretchy. Fold it face to face. . .
turn your top inside out and fold it in half like so . . .make sure the seams overlap. Place the folded top on your folded material. . .fold on fold . . . Outline by following the seam that is touching your material without sleeves and turtleneck thing which is either front or back of your top. Which ever you outlined you will need the other side too so make sure you do the same steps again for the other side. Cut them out.

Now for the sleeves you´l have to fold them on the shoulder seam and place them on a fold of your material. If you have a frilled sleeve like me than place it on the fold ignoring the top bit and starting from where the frilled part doesn't prevent you from doing so. Following the direction of thread like on the picture. The same rules go for long sleeves. Outline following the seam like on the pictures. If frilled than stop just before the frilled part. (The length decide for yourself so ignore mine) Than turn the tip carefully so it overlaps the fold by ignoring the direction of thread. You know the (place it on the fold. . .starting from where the frilled part doesn't prevent you from doing so)That starting point needs to stay in the same place but all other is irrelevant.

Mark the tip where the shoulder seam is. Than connect in arc with the marking where you stopped before. Cut it. Make another one.

Now your turtleneck. . . chose the height you want it to be and double it cuz it´l be folded in half. So measure a rectangle (double the height) for width and (neck circumference) for length.

Now on to sewing. . . Use whatever sewing machine you have . . . it would be good if it has the zigzag stitch. but if not it´l work just fine without if your not too bothered . . .cuz stretchy materials don't really shred. I use my Juki overlock machine because i have one and because i can. Worked my ass of to get it . . .   quite in a bad shape cuz its probably been used in some factory for many years.
So Your going to sew the back and the front part together only where the shoulders are so you can immediately sew on the sleeves afterwards . . .

So you have your sleeve and your spread shoulder space . . . something O.o

Anyways . . . Pin the sleeve as usual if its the normal one . . .if the fluffy one than pin starting from the ends and stopping about 3 cm from shoulder seam. So all that extra sleeve material is in those 6 cm around the shoulder.

Sew until you get to those 3cm before the shoulder seam and than start pulling and spreading the extra sleeve bit so its evenly distributed throughout the 6cm,sew and continue normally after those 6cm.

Now sew the sides together . . .

Hem your sleeve edge normally . . .

or this way . . . (this is usually used only on short sleeves) Make two stripes about 3 cm wide and (your upper arm circumference) long . . .

Fold in half sew . . .

than fold the other way in half and sew on your sleeve distributing the stripe evenly . . . The same principle goes for the turtleneck . . . so i don't repeat myself :)

And for the end hem the edge of your top . . .

and voilà!
